Client onboarding
What happens once you say go.
Onboarding is a defined part of the engagement. Before the build starts you know who has access, what the first week involves, and who answers when something needs attention.
Access
Who gets invited.
The MessyOrg workspace is invite-only. MessyOrg adds a person by email address, and only an invited email can reach your workspace. Nobody else who signs up can see your project.
One account opens the workspace and the MessyOrg products your engagement uses — not one login per tool.
Project sponsor
The person accountable for the outcome. Sees project status, results, documents and invoices.
Day-to-day contact
The person we work with most. Sees progress notes, documents and deliverables as they land.
Additional team members
Anyone else who needs visibility. Added by email whenever you ask, and removed the same way.
Week one
What the first week looks like.
01
Kickoff call
We confirm the problem, the outcome you need, who is involved and how decisions get made.
02
Workspace set up
Your workspace is created and your team is invited. The project appears with its stage and next step.
03
Systems and access review
We list the systems involved, what has to connect and what access is required — including what we should not have access to.
04
Discovery write-up
The Discover stage findings are written down in the workspace: workflows, constraints, dependencies and open questions.
05
Scope and success criteria confirmed
Before Build begins, we agree in writing what is in scope, what is not, and how success will be judged.
Delivery system
How we work
Discover
We identify workflows, bottlenecks, manual processes, and opportunities where custom software can create measurable value.
Design
We define the application, user experience, architecture, integrations, security requirements, and success criteria.
Build
We rapidly build the application using Lovable and the appropriate supporting technology stack.
Verify
We test what was built, document how it works, identify issues, and validate readiness.
Launch
We handle integrations, authentication, permissions, production readiness, deployment, and handoff.
Enable
We provide documentation, training, and guidance so teams understand and confidently use what was built.
Support
We can remain involved after launch for optimization, enhancements, troubleshooting, and continued development.
Support
Who answers.
MessyOrg is founder-led. There is no ticket triage layer between you and the person accountable for the engagement.
Explore MessyCareDuring the engagement
Mike Perkins, founder, is your point of contact. Questions, decisions and issues go to him directly.
In the workspace
Progress notes, documents and decisions are recorded against your project so a question is rarely a search through email.
After launch
If you continue with MessyCare, the same relationship carries on: monitoring, fixes, improvements and guidance from the people who built it.
Escalation
What counts as urgent, and how it is raised, is agreed at the start of the MessyCare arrangement for your engagement.
Your MessyOrg workspace
One place to see what we're building together.
Your engagement shouldn't disappear into email threads and status meetings. Your MessyOrg workspace keeps the work, decisions, progress, verification and support visible.
A private workspace is included with client engagements. Access is invite-only.
Project status
Which of the seven stages the work is in, and what the next step is.
Progress notes
Written updates recorded against your project as work lands.
Documents
Specifications, documentation and deliverables kept with the project.
Invoices
What has been raised and what it relates to.
Results
Outcomes recorded against the engagement, with how each was established.
Product access
The MessyOrg products your engagement uses, opened from one sign-in.
