About MessyProof
MessyProof is the independent verification and ownership layer for AI-built software. It reads a repository you own and explains what is actually in it — it never builds, edits or deploys the application.

AI can ship a working product in an afternoon. It rarely leaves anyone with an understanding of it.
You can demo the app but not say which services it depends on. A prompt rewrites the auth logic and nothing records it. “Is this safe to launch?” gets answered by feel rather than by named checks with evidence behind them.
What it does
What it does
Authorise GitHub, pick a repository and run a Proof Scan. Every check is named, run against real repository evidence, and recorded with its result and its contribution to the score.
The result is an App Passport: a living document of the stack, data, authentication, integrations, deployment and discoverability, regenerated on every scan and compared with the previous one so changes are visible.
Ask Messy answers only from the stored analysis, citing the file, dependency, configuration or finding behind each statement — and says so when the evidence does not cover the question.
