Getting started
What happens after you click Start a project
No surprises and no commitment until you have a written plan and a price. Here is exactly how the start works.
You send the request
Tell us what you are trying to fix or build through Start a project. You do not need a spec. A rough description, a Lovable link or a list of what is broken is enough.
Your part: Share what you have.
We read it and reply
Mike reads every request personally. If it is a fit, you get a reply with a few clarifying questions and an invitation to a discovery call. If it is not, we say so plainly.
Your part: Answer a few questions.
Discovery call
A focused conversation about the problem, the people who use it, the systems involved and what a good outcome looks like. No pitch deck.
Your part: Bring the person who owns the problem.
The scan
Every engagement starts with a scan. We map what exists, what is missing and what is risky, and we mark what you told us separately from what we have checked ourselves.
Your part: Give read access where it helps.
A written plan and price
You receive a written scope: what we will build, what we will not, the stages, and which engagement fits (Sprint, Build, Enterprise or MessyCare). Pricing is stated up front.
Your part: Review it and ask anything.
You decide
Nothing starts until you approve the scope and agreement. If the plan is not right, we adjust it or part ways, with no obligation.
Your part: Say yes, change it or pass.
